Your sixth sense is you seeing beyond the physical with your third eye, hearing with your inner ear, and sensing with your heart what is the best choice and possible outcome for you. One my students last semester came into the certification program with very little background on connecting with her sixth sense. In class she was able to connect deeply with her intuition through her gut feeling and inner knowing and it wasn’t until after class that she opened to hearing her inner guidance. One day when she was talking with a friend, a personal connection was made to her inner voice when she heard audible words whispered in her ear, “let that go so she can find something even better.” Wow! What a surprise for Anne.

Your guides and guidance can come to you when you least expect it, or even when you do. You just have to listen! Typically guidance is received in third person, as if someone is talking to you (this time it’s just your guide, angel, or higher self). Guides are just like us, energetic forms of energy~ they just vibrate to a higher level and can offer us both objective and more loving guidance in the heart or heat of the moment!

This morning, 2am I find myself in my creative flow. Although this is not typical, it is quite amusing. I’m always amazed by the power of the heart and how powerful our heart’s desire can be, even if it’s keeping us up until 2 in the morning!

As my heart has guided me, I feel compelled to share the answer to the title of this article….

What’s The Difference Between Creating & Controlling?

Creating allows the energy of love to flow while control is based on fear of something “having” to happen to trying to stop something from happening. When we trust we can allow the love of our heart’s desire to flow and know that everything happens for a reason, whether for our growth or growth (yes I said that twice). Growth is natural, stopping growth is un-natural.

Take a moment to reflect on your own life…

Where are you feeling pushed to grow and expand? Are you allowing this expansion or cutting yourself off from your good? Are you trying to control it?

No worries, however you answer is perfect! They key to let go of any form of judgement or expectation for yourself. This will allow you the experience of wholeness and perfection of the moment.

On my way back home from my run today, I stopped to talk with an local artist. I see him everyday painting his beautiful pictures of the ocean and the gorgeous La Jolla scenery. His presence is felt every time I walk by him because I can feel his joy for what he does.

Today, we engaged in a conversation regarding the recent changes of mother earth and her shifts. For those of you also in San Diego and Orange county areas, we experienced a huge shift of the earth’s plates which caused the electricity to go out. While some felt concerned and fearful, others took it as an opportunity to feel a deeper sense of peace and calm. I have to say, there was a deep knowing of truth as my friend and I looked up to the stars and moon. The stars sparkled with the glow of the moon~ in that moment I really felt us energetically shifting to a new level of consciousness felt as unconditional love and compassion, a shift from the head to the heart.

As my conversation with the artist continued, I brought up the point of how we treat mother earth and how much energy we use of her. That the military tests, electricity and gas really take a toll on this beautiful gift of life on earth we have. Wow I thought. “We really have so much to be grateful for in our hearts.” Looking back on the last twenty years I can see how so much of consciousness as we know it has shifted into using the mind to guide us rather than the heart. The technology, businesses, and economic times based on the ideas of man. Now I’m not saying there isn’t a place for these, but truly to operate from a place of unconditional love and understanding is a rarity. I truly believe the biggest shift of consciousness and life as we know it is bowing our heads to our hearts. To find the wisdom within to guide us and share the love with one another.

I’m really writing you this email because I know there are shifts coming both in the spiritual and physical realms. The only way through it is to access the wisdom of the heart and follow your intuition, it is the only thing that will keep you safe. Your intuition is your direct connection to Source and as you follow that inner knowing and gut feeling you will always be led or remain in safety. Turn within and trust what you feel. Know what you know and act on your knowing.

Today I finally realized the true meaning of abundance. Not the kind of understanding that you think about in your mind, but the kind you feel in your heart.

After spending a long weekend over Labor Day with a newly acquainted friend, I re-discovered the power of opening my heart, this is where true abundance is found.

I have always considered myself to be a very open hearted person but this past weekend I felt my own insecurities and protection mechanisms flare up to protect me. It was as if I was afraid to be really loved, to let someone see my faults, judgements and insecuties. That I wasn’t perfect to have them.

What I found out was the exact opposite. (That is the funny thing about life, always showing us contrast so we can choose what we really want in life.)

I found that by opening to the love in my heart and that of another, I could embrace these darker parts of myself as children and love each and every fear that popped up from within my consciousness.

How funny I thought, to believe that I was not perfect to have such dark thoughts and feelings, then I realized the true purpose for me having them. Had I not experienced the darkness I would never have been so propelled to be a  teacher of the light, I would have never started a business at 19 to serve people and help them find their joy, I would have never had the courage to dance in front of hundreds of people without blinking an eye. I would not be the “I” am today.

Light is found within the heart. As we open our hearts FULLY, true love can be felt and shared. From this place infinite love we can allow it to materialize into financial wealth, relationships, health, etc.
Take a moment to turn within and feel your own heart. Just acknowledge the love and truth that is there and say “I love you.”

It’s not what we give, it’s what we share. From our own full expression of love, we truly can share the gifts of the Spirit.

If you listen to the love in your heart, everything can
become a love song. You can fall in love with every moment. You can dance with the Universe and allow yourself to be free and in touch with the essence of you! To find the Divine in everything!
