Here are 3 simple steps to start living your heart’s desires TODAY and, as Gandhi said, to “be the change that you wish to see in the world.”

Step #1: Ask, “What Does My Heart Say?”

Your heart speaks to you in the vibration of positive or negative feelings. Although you may not have words, your heart simply points you in the direction of the most love. Simply because it knows what love feels like.

Love will bring you into alignment with the core of who you are, the Spirit in all things.

When you move into partnership with your heart, you ignite the spark of light within and your intuition comes alive! This is where the magic happens!

Take a moment now to close your eyes and let your attention soften and drop from your head into your heart. Let the thoughts go and let your heart, and the love you feel, expand from your heart out beyond your body.

Step #2: Listen To Your Gut

Did you know that there are over 500 million cells in your gut?

Science has helped us prove that following the intelligence in our guts (our intuition) naturally leads to better decisions and outcomes and can greatly improve our relationships, incomes and health. In fact, we can heal ourselves with our intuitive guidance. So, are you following your gut?

Take a moment to drop from your heart and feel into the area of your belly. Now, ask yourself a question and listen to your gut. It will give you a sensation of expansion or contraction in response. Follow the feelings of expansion…

When you follow your intuition, you’re in alignment with your soul AND this gut feeling of your intuition is your constant companion that will always lead you to your best life!

Because energy moves when we take action, it will bring our heart’s desire into form. From idea to matter. Your idea can be thought of as your intention, and as you set your intention and activate your intuition, the next step will appear!

As I sit here at the yoga barn writing you this letter my heart is filled with mixed emotions, some of us have lost people and things in our lives yet the love remains the same, it can’t be taken or ever lost.

The love I have for children is a teacher in and of itself for our intuitions to be keen and guide us in alignment with our highest truth. From that point we have free will to decide where to go and how to best get there.

Where is your dream leading you?

Is it to service, is it to love, is it more money or more kindness or the greatest gift of all… presence. Your presence is a gift to the world, your kindness, your love, your money, your life makes a difference, just as you are now.

I remembered this as I flew across America halfway across the globe to arrive here in Bali. Although my heart didn’t feel like it could handle the trip my soul knew it was possible and what I would find within could also never be taken, of course that is love…

And then again yesterday my new Baliense friend reminded me of this essence of love. I walked into his store to get my friend a present he looked at me and said, “smile, be happy! It’s all good… don’t worry.” Realizing I didn’t have enough money in my wallet to pay for the present he looked at me again and said, “it’s enough, it’s always enough.”

So the new story begins, it’s always enough, I know that because how could we not be enough if we are all created from love? Love is perfect.

One Heart, One World

Today, I walked down to the ocean and as I looked to my left there was a little girl about 7 years old buried in the sand with only her head showing. In tears she told her parents, “get me out!”

I found myself relating to her… feeling trapped by life circumstances, my own thoughts, or even other people’s energy. In that moment I realized the Universe was showing me something, I heard a still small voice inside of me say “BREAK FREE!”

In that moment my heart opened and I saw how amazing my life was, how gifted I was to have what I have and know what I know. Then I felt my intuition speak through me to you, first as an energetic wave of love, then in these words…

What do you need to break free from?

What is holding you back?

What person, place, event or past circumstance do you need to let go of?

Now, I invite you to listen with your heart, drop into your intuitive knowing and feel the truth within you. Then notice the space that you have created by letting go to now be open to what you do want!

As I walked back up from the beach I looked over at the little girl’s father. He was loving brushing the sand off her skin, smiling with loving adoration of his precious child.

Sometimes we just need to be brushed off, rise outta what is holding us back, and be even more powerful than we were before because of the strength it took to get here today!

I woke up this morning with an inspiration to share with you something that I believe each and every one of us know but often forget. Our interconnectedness to each other provides an opportunity to grow and heal with love, not with our mind’s intellect but rather with the wisdom of the heart. There is a certain peace here that the mind may not understand but your intuition knows the truth. This is the greatest place of service that we can be, in alignment with our hearts.

The great news is that it’s only natural to access the wisdom of our hearts, it’s just that fear often gets in the way of our heart’s pure longing. If we have the courage to face each of our fears with love, we will know the freedom and liberation of truly creating our lives. This power is innate, it’s what we were born to do!

So what’s stopping you? What fear do you need to face that will set yourself free?

One of my favorite teachers Sonia Choquette once said, “if you weren’t afraid, what would you do?”

For me it was dancing at the time, she asked me to come up on stage in front of a couple hundred people. My hips locked, I could hardly move, but she had me stay with the fear until the power within me moved me with such Life Force that I became a dancer and have never been the same to this day.

Sometimes the fear is actually the gateway to your deepest heart’s desire because what’s on the other side is actually what your soul is craving, you just have to be stronger than your dear fear which in most cases is just a thought anyways!

That’s what I love about teaching intuitive development, it strengthens what we know at our core and puts us in alignment with our highest selves. From this place we create the life we came here to live.
